Un nuevo capítulo para DRS en América Latina
El DRS Latin American Plan ha sido creado para ampliar el acceso a la membresía de DRS en la región y fortalecer la presencia de investigadores de América Latina dentro de la comunidad global de investigación en diseño. Este plan permite a las universidades ofrecer membresías DRS a sus académicos y estudiantes a través de un marco estructurado y accesible.
El DRS Latin American Plan no constituye una membresía institucional. Su propósito es facilitar la participación en DRS y el acceso a sus beneficios para investigadores de su institución, mediante paquetes que incluyen hasta 15 membresías individuales de DRS.
El plan es anual y puede renovarse de manera opcional cada año. Para 2026, la inscripción en el plan incluye además una invitación gratuita para un representante de su institución para asistir a DRS Conecta: Santiago 2026.
Los beneficios de la membresía incluyen:
• Acceso gratuito o con descuento a eventos DRS
• Participación en Grupos de Interés Especial (SIGs)
• Acceso online gratuito a la revista Designing
• Oportunidades de liderazgo global, incluyendo el International Advisory Council
Pago del DRS Latin American Plan
La cuota anual puede pagarse en cualquier momento del año. Sin embargo, para participar en DRS Conecta: Santiago 2026, el pago del DRS Latin American Plan debe completarse de acuerdo con el siguiente calendario:

A new chapter for design research in Latin America
The DRS Latin American Plan has been created to expand access to DRS membership across the region and to strengthen the presence of Latin American design researchers within the global design research community. This plan enables universities to provide DRS membership to their faculty and students through a structured and accessible framework.
The DRS Latin American Plan does not constitute institutional membership. Its purpose is to facilitate participation in DRS and access to its benefits for researchers from your institution, through package that include up to 15 individual DRS memberships.
The plan is annual and may be renewed on an optional yearly basis. For 2026, enrolment in the plan also includes a complimentary invitation for one representative from your institution to attend DRS Connects: Santiago 2026.
Membership benefits include:
• Complimentary or discounted access to DRS events
• Participation in Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
• Complimentary online access to the Designing journal
• Global leadership opportunities, including the International Advisory Council
Payment of the DRS Latin American Plan
The annual fee may be paid at any time during the year. However, to participate in DRS Connects: Santiago 2026, payment of the DRS Latin American Plan must be completed according to the following schedule:
